BayHQ ("we", "us") provides queue, billing, loyalty, payroll and reporting software for car washes, detailing studios and service centers. This page explains what information we collect through BayHQ and how we handle it.
To run a shop on BayHQ, shop staff enter business records: customer names and phone numbers, vehicle registration details, job and billing history, and payment records. Shop owners and staff sign in with their Google account, which gives us their name and email address. We don't ask for or store payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data.
Shop data is stored in Google Sheets and Google Drive, in a dedicated workbook for each shop. We don't sell shop or customer data, and we don't share it with third parties except where needed to operate the service (for example, Google's infrastructure, which stores the data) or where the law requires it.
Access within a shop is controlled by role — an owner, manager, cashier or staff member only sees what their role allows, enforced on every request. BayHQ's platform administrator can access shop records to provide support and to operate the platform, but does not use shop data for any other purpose.
If you're a shop owner and want a copy of your data, or want it deleted after you stop using BayHQ, email us and we'll take care of it.
We'll update this page if how we handle data changes, and update the date above when we do.
